C|P|H History
C|P|H Structural Engineering, Inc. was founded in the Lone Star State in 2012 by Christopher P. Hillman with a desire to always maintain a direct one-on-one relationship with clients and remain hands-on in performing his structural practice. Since beginning in 1999, his experience has included residential, commercial, healthcare, education, and industrial structures and encompassed the full breadth of building design and construction. Mr. Hillman has performed comprehensive building design, including architecture and structural systems, and has managed consultant teams throughout the design and construction process. He is a licensed professional engineer in Texas and maintains professional registration in several other states.
In addition to being licensed in the great state of Texas, we are also licensed in 10 other states and have performed design work across the United States and abroad.

More About Christopher P. Hillman
Prior to forming C|P|H, Mr. Hillman managed the day-to-day operations of a prominent Houston engineering firm including client management, business development, and engineering management. He has managed teams of up to 50 engineers, drafters, and administrative assistants in multiple offices, and directed operations in overseas offices. Mr. Hillman’s passion for well prepared engineering documents has kept him hands-on and up-to-date on the latest technologies in building design.
Specialties & Business Plan
Part of Mr. Hillman’s business plan is to provide high quality structural engineering services to under-served rural communities in Texas. From a small Texas community himself, he endeavors to provide the same quality of structural engineering service that are available in highly populated centers. Mr Hillman is an expert in high wind design and has performed numerous structural designs along the Texas Gulf Coast high wind regions. Mr. Hillman is also qualified to perform Texas Department of Insurance Windstorm Program Certifications including post-construction.
