Christopher P. Hillman, P.E.- Principal Engineer & Owner
Mr. Christopher P. Hillman is a 1998 graduate of Texas A&M University with a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis. He was licensed in 2004 as a structural engineer in the State of Texas and has since obtained licenses in 13 other states. Prior to opening his own firm in 2012, Mr. Hillman performed structural design for projects across the United States and abroad.
Now as owner of his own firm, Mr. Hillman utilizes his years of experience and implements his own style and leadership. Mr. Hillman has made a special effort in his career to develop an expertise in code compliant high wind building design and construction certification. He has developed design standards and building code enforcement methods unique in the field. He has served on an advisory committee with Texas Department of Insurance to assist in the development of post-construction certification procedures. He continues to be a progressive presence in the market where hurricane resistant design is needed.
Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and four children and lending his time to various community and faith based organizations. Mr. Hillman joined the Magnolia Council of Knights of Columbus in March 2012, and was appointed to the City of Magnolia Planning Commission in September 2012. Christopher is also a volunteer for the Texas Task Force 1, which functions as one of the 28 federal teams under the FEMA Urban Search and Rescue System and as a statewide urban search and rescue team under direction of the Texas Division of Emergency Management. When he’s not too busy, he enjoys playing piano, and performing as singer and guitarist with his country western band.
Rebecca Mckissack- Executive Assistant
Born and reared in Texas, Rebecca is a 2000 graduate of Southern Careers Institute, in Austin, TX. She has worked in the medical industry for over 10 years at facilities including USA Managed Care, a PPO network, Austin Heart, a Cardiovascular Clinic, and PM&R Associates. Rebecca’s experience of medical billing, document handling, organization, and working in demanding and fast-paced environments has given her the skills to take on any task as Executive Assistant at C|P|H, where she has been employed since February 2015.
In 2009, Rebecca moved to east Tennessee where she now resides with her husband, Tony, and two girls, Kinsley and Kiley. She stays busy with her two baby girls while working remotely for C|P|H, while visiting the office many times throughout the year.
When Rebecca’s not working, she enjoys cooking, traveling, camping, exercising, and spending time with her husband and 2 beautiful little girls.
Evelyn Poplin- Director of Marketing
After traveling the world Evelyn found that she wanted a career that utilized all her many talents. Having extensive experience in management, sales, and a wide verity of professional and medical services she is a great addition to the C|P|H team. Her formal education ranges from artistic welding and construction fabrication, to emergency medicine and nursing.
Her world travels have made her well versed in many cultures, and her love for learning brings a freshness to any environment. She has taken on huge responsibilities in her professional life as manager, as acute trauma nurse and in creating and managing medical facilities. Her strong work ethic, dedication, and genuine excitement for life has contributed to her success in her personal life as well.
Mrs. Poplin has a diverse and vibrant history of philanthropic ventures across the glob and has maintained strong service positions in faith based organizations for over 10 years.
